Dříve používaná a dodnes nikoliv špatná kombinace Winboard+Crafty se dá nyní nahradit dvojicí Arena+Robbolito,
čímž dosáhnete na samý vrchol mezi šachovými programy.

RobboLito je silný šachový motor (program na téma umělá šachová inteligence) na bázi protokolu UCI,
windows 'konzolová' aplikace, což znamená, že nemá žádné GUI (grafické uživatelské rozhraní).
Leč je zde několik programů zadarmo, které toto GUI mají, a z nichž lze tento motor ovládat a nabízejí uživatelsky přívětivé rozhraní a navíc spoustu funkcí.
Mezi nejpopulárnější patří : UCI Arena, Winboard.

RobboLito is a UCI windows 'console' application,
meaning that it has no GUI (graphical user interface).
There are several free programs that provide a GUI, along with a rich set of user-friendly features.
