Do you like atmosphere of a tournament or casual gaming?
Do you like talking to people or trying to defeat various opponents?

If at least to one of these questions your answer is yes, then you shall not miss the Bughouse Gathering in Pardubice, which is part of huge international chess festival, the Czech Open.
- Organization
Czech Open festival is held every year in July at large stadium in the city of Pardubice, where is also pleasant temperature in summer.
There is plenty of room for different games.
The city of Pardubice is located on the main train line, about 100 km east from Prague (where is biggest czech airport), ie. about one hour by train.
Czech Open offers facilities ranging from accommodation, organizing various tournaments, sport events and tourist trips.
The basic schedule is meeting the players from Friday to Sunday, with main Czech Open bughouse tournament (Open Championship of the Czech Republic) on Saturday.
We can here easily organize more tournaments in bughouse chess.
For example, individual tournament (with changing partners), or KO tournament in F1 bughouse (time control with 0s for move).
Detailed daily schedule will be published before the gathering based on the information from all registered participants.
In case of interest it is possible to extend the period, or continue playing in the subsequent days.
Whether you are newbie or master in bughouse chess, come and enjoy tactical maneuvers with chess pieces.
As a player or as a spectator.
All bughouse fans are invited by the Czech Open tournament director and the top Czech bughouse players.

2015: was 17-19.7
2016: was 15-16.7
2017: was 14-16.7, started friday 14.7 from 15:00, continued saturday main tourney and more games after also in sunday 12-18h with Maras and top czech players.
2018: was 13-15.7, started friday 14.7 from 15:00, continued saturday main tourney and more games after! Again more bughouse chess games in sunday 12-18h with Maras etc.
2019: was 12-14.7, started friday 14.7 from 15:00, continued saturday main tourney and more bughouse chess games after!
2020: was 18-19.9, (Covid-19 influence) started friday 12.7 from 15:00, continued saturday main tourney and more games after!
2021: was 23-24.7, started friday 23.7 from 15:00 continued to 20:00, but many was here already after 12:00. Continued saturday main tourney and games after!
2022: 22.-23.7 started friday from 15:00 ended about 20:30, continued with saturday main tourney and then more games after lunch even with many players until about 19:00.
2023: 21.-22.7 started friday 23.7 from 15:00, planned special wild tourney from 16 to 19 hours, but many will be here already in 13:00 or soon. Continued saturday main tourney and possible more games after!
2024: 19.-20.7 starting friday, details to be specified ... You can use onlinea.eu beta bughouse chess server for training (delay time control and any wild start position supported, also unique complete lag compensator for both boards implemented).
